    HAVE JUST GOT SOME VCDS BUT THETY R IN WIDESCREEN LETTERBOX MODE IS THERE A WAY OF CONVERTING THEM BACK TO FULL SCREEN,,,,

    Yes. Convert DAT file on VCD to MPEG with VCD Gear, strip audio with Virtual Dub then encode both through TMPGEnc. Will take quite a while though. Do you not have a zoom on DVD player?
