Whenever I try to play something I encoded using virtualdub and divx 5.0.2 pro, it plays just fine, but when I try to skip to anywhere in the file beyond half way through the file the program hangs. This happens when I use windows media player, virtualdub or ATI's media player. Anyone know why this is? The files are only about 20 min log.
This only happens on files which I recorded at 60 fps, other ones which I recorded at 30 fps seem to work just fine. Does anyone know why this is?

Microsoft states that WMP may not handle 60fps or higher correctly. As your other apps are also borrowing the same directshow codecs, that
limitation applies to them as well.
