  1. Ok, now i've searched these forums and can't find an answer to my question!

Ive ripped a divx to an mpg using virtual dub and tmpegenc. Now the problem is that I split the file, go to nero to burn it and nero says its in the wrong format.

Now, I know this problem has been asked before but everyone seems to say "Ok, your encoding was done wrong. Go back to TMPGenc and re-encode". I think the problem with my file is the audio isnt at the right khz. Is there any way I can rip the audio off the ~2Gb mpg, reencode it at the right khz and stick it back on?

Im a real newbie so I dont know what to do when you say "Go back to TMPenc and do it again".

Can someone please explain in painful detail what I need to do?

    Thankyou VERY much,
    Regards,
    Tylenol

  2. YOU DONīT HAVE TO USE THE SAME audio frequency (KHz) as the standard says!

If NERO says the problem is AUDIO KHz choose continue "turn off compliance" and BURN the SVCD. DOnīt worry, most DVD Players play well audio with 44 / 48 KHz.

PS: sometimes audio is not sync with video - if that happens MULTIPLEX again with BBMPEG. 8)
