Pioneer DV 343 and region code hack. plz read.

ok, here we go. my first post. i used the search function for this but didn't get any useful results, so i gotta post this here...

i use the pioneer dv 343 and i was told that there was no way to unlock the region code manually with a hack but accidentally found this page with a hack. everything fine until now...

but the guy who reported the second hack (klick) stressed that he does not know how often you can change the code.

so this is my question: did anybody try this? how often can you switch the region codes? with which hack, #1 or #2? is #1 suggested to work each time i switch the codes without any limitation?

As far as I know, its not possible to make a Pioneer player region free by using the remote to enter a 'hack'.

HOWEVER

You should be able to play DVDs from any other region.

PLEASE, PLEASE! Vote on the poll connected to my post, even if this doesn't work - no-one yet has even replied but as far as I can see, there are no other multiple-machine pioneer hacks apart from mine! Where's all my thanks?!? Just kidding!

yes the hack on this site worked -- only 10 times i sem to recall and it doesnt change anymore .. it may have been less than that even.. somewhere between 5 and 10

i havnt tried it -- have to print it out or something .. looks like you just keep pressing buttons till it plays :o hehehe

I am desperate to know if it works on all pioneers with a search/search mode button

remember - technique must be applied each disc is play but only takes a few seconds so dont whine and bitch about it! + you can skip past the annoying intro parts by accessing the film directly, et voila.
