    Not all (far from) players can be made region free. Why did you not get a "all region" player in the first place, if you need one?

    Aside from the fact that not all players can be unlocked ("hacked") as noted by mats above, this is especially true of specialty players (specialty = car players, VCR/DVD combos, Home Theatre in a Box, etc.). Unfortunately, you have a specialty player.
