    i have some mpeg and avi files that i downloaded, they have a resolution of 176 x 120. is there any way i can increase the resolution so that i can make them into a vcd? any help would be great.

    yes, just encode them in TmpGenc using the VCD template and it will adjust the resolution as required. Increasing the resolution will probably make it look pretty poor though!
