    I am currently on an XP machine using the latest and great version of TMPGEN.

    When I try to load a SVCD file into TMPGEN, it thows and error.

    I have tried older versions of TMPGEN, but it still bombs the program.

    I currently have no problem watching SVCD in XP Media player.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Do you have the Mpeg2 codecs installed?. Most likely this is your problem.

    Have you tried change the directshow codec reader in TMPGEnc?

    and if that does not work use this
