I got a LITE-ON 24X-10X-40X burner and I checked from this website that it is compatible with 90 min cds. However, what softwares support burning of 90min discs.

  6. U want to stay away fro sleazy cd creator as it does not write vcd's properly & also totally interferes with what ever other writer software U may ad in the future.... Get nero & just set it to overburn in the expert preferences!! set it to 99mins on a 90 min disk U can burn upto 91:30 on a liteon by the way.. Using a 99min disk U can burn all the way up to 99.59 but I would not expect it to play in the dvd player though.

So, what about if I burn a 90 min CD with actually say 87 min of audio tracks on it, would it play on a stand-alone CD player ?

I have a lot of audio cdrs that are on 90-99min media. Mainly they are for the car on my long travels. All my DVD players, cd players, and car cd player have no problems with them. The only one that balks is my Gemini DJ CD Player if I burn the disc faster than 8x. One thing to remember, this media is really awful quality. So whatever you put on it be certain that you don't care if it lasts very long.

BTW, I have no problems burning with Nero or CDrWin. Please, don't use EZ-CD people. That app just plain sucks.

  9. I have a plextor 121032 and it said in the list that it could do 90 min CD's however I've tried to put 796M on an 800M (90min) cd. Now I know this is pushing the limits, however what happened is that the burning of the lead-in worked but I got some weird sense media hardware error immediately afterwards. What's up with that?

With a 70 min CDR, if I push overburning too far the error occurs at the end, not just after the leadin
