Hello!
I have an ECS K7S5A mainboard, and I would like to know if it's going to
cause any problems with the DV500+ card.
I've tried to install the AVMaster, but I got stuck becuase of the irq
problems.... (it got irq 11, which was the same as the onboard lan, USB and
sound, and the soundblaster). I heard disabling the onboard sound and lan
would fix it. But I would like to keep the USB..... I hope the DV500 won't
have the same problems.
My config:
ECS K7S5A (Sound + Lan onboard)
AMD Athlon XP1700+
512 MB PC133
Voodoo 3000 AGP (+tv-out)
Windows ME
PCI cards:
- Adaptec AHA2940 scsi
- Hauppauge WinTV
- SoundBlaster Live! 5.1

Windows ME is your the problem. Change to win2000 or at least to 98SE. Use the latest driver from Pinnacle and it gonna work well.
DV500+ use only one IRQ and you can reserv this IRQ in the Bios if something shows up.
