Hi all,
New to the forum and already need help.
I am having problems playing certain SVCD disks on my LG3300d player.
Both Spiderman and Clones have sound faults, in that every few seconds the sound stops for a moment and then continues. There is no problem with the sync, just a small moment of silence and then it picks up again correctly. Have tried the disc in two other players and it works fine.
Any ideas?
Cheers and thanks for a great board, have learnt a lot already.

I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same svcd's
But I'm using a Schneider 855.
All SVCD's I've thrown at it in the past have been fine, but these two are different.
I also have problems when playing DVD rips on DVDR's, the picture normaly breaks up and becomes unwatchable.
I've tried these films on another Schneider 855 and get the same problems.
What is it about these players that make them incompatible with the two latest SVCD releases and DVDR movies.
/me thinks its time to upgrade
