I've read through many of the guides on this great site and now undestand how to create vcd/svcd's from avi's.

However I'd like to convert some of my Dvd/Vob files to avi with the DivX codec, can anyone recommend the best program(s) for this conversion?

I'm going to try FlaskMpeg later, does that produce the best quality conversions?
