    I have downloaded resident evil which came as a two part mpeg. I can get it to fit on a 99 min cdr so I have used TMPGenc to merge the two parts. There is a slight overlap between the end of part on and the beginning of part two I want to cut this out so that I have a smooth transition. Whats the best way to do this as TMPGenc only lets you cut off the beginning or the end not a piece out of the centre.

    I've used the TMPGenc Mpeg Tools and just load two copies of the same file into the Merge & Cut. Set the start and end for each and then merge them with the center section cut out.
