  1. i have a vcd with bad background audio quality, is there a way to edit the sound and reburn the disk. if so, tips on how to do this and the programs needed, plz.

    you can do it, but it will take a little time:
    1) extract the .mpg with isobuster
    2) demultiplex with TMPG
    3) search the forum for "audio hiss" or something like that--you will find answers on how to clean up audio.
    4) convert back to .mp2 if necessary, and remultiplex
    5) burn VCD
    6) crack open a cold beer, and enjoy the show
