    i am going to order a new motherboard and cpu. i believe that i want an amd cpu.

    which chipset(s) should i be looking to get? i know that via is awful. anything else anyone can tell me?

  3. My Abit KR7A (Via KT266A) crashes in Premiere once a while. It was much worse before removing from using the RAID and installing the VIA latency PCI fix. Hope this helps. Frankly speaking, crashes are common when it comes to video editing.

    i was actually thinking about getting the abit kg7a-raid board myself... perhaps i won't since you can't use the raid on it then.

  6. Im a die hard Gigabyte fan get the GA-7dx rev.4 it comes with the amd 761 but it doesnt have an onboard graphics chip which is why I got it but Im not sure what your looking for

  8. I've got the epox EP-8K3A+, it got via chipset, but I've had no problems with it. Check my comp spec to see what I use it with, fast board and a good overclocker too.
