Im trying to find the best program for capturing large video size because I have a huge TV and alot of the videos I put on cd end up having ALOT of pixelation and not worth watching Anyways what do you guys do about this and what are some program capturing suggestions??? Someone mentioned PowerVCR but I cant seem to configure it to work with my system.

  2. Get a good MPEG1 / 2 Capture card I have an Happauge PVR card that will capture anything from 160x120 1150 bitrate MPEG1 to 720x480 12,000 bitrate MPEG2 and anything in between, I tend to do movies at either 2200 to 3000 bitrate at 480x480 SVCD or shorter programs at 704x480 at 5000 bitrate and burn them either on 80min. or 99min. CD-R, Only the Daewoo 5700 or 5800 DVD Player For $89 at sams I know of will play bitrates higher than 3500 and resolution higher than 480x480, my music videos though at 704x480 at 5000 Bitrate look just like DVD's plus once I hit anything over 3000 bitrate I get -0- pixelation, if I capture MPEG1 at 352x240 at over 2000 bitrate I get a perfect picture also, I have even made my own templates in TMPGE to decode in MPEG1 or MPEG2 without any pixelations. My DVD rip of MOnsters Inc looks just like a DVD.
