    My VCD will not play on this it sits at the load screen forever. The same disk played fine on my friends Phillips DVD player. Any suggestions? The player does support VCD playback from CD-R's. I am using Memorex Cd-r's, Nero, and tmpgenc encoder.

    Ok very important thing I learned about APEX Players. Burn you CD's at no higher speed than 8x. Also the APEX player's DO support PAL playback.
