Are you talking about http://www.edonkey2000.com ??
I think everyone knows that program !

What's funny about this post is people will help you w/out anything in return. Not to mention, any source you have I'm sure most of us have. In fact, I'm sure some of us have better sources then what you can offer. But that's besides the point...why don't you just tell us what your problem is and what steps you've taken.
-
Well.
If you look at the postings ive made in the past,
you will understand why i offerd my sources,
and yea maybe everyone DOES have beter sources,
But it seems NOONE wants to even acknowledge it.
BUT, The problem is,
I cant get the movie to convert to MPEG. useing TMPEGen
the screen is BLANK. Need someone to help in the SETTINGS dept.
-
What template are you using to encode? Is it it blank before encoding or after? Are you able to watch it at all before you convert? No need to get mad...just trying to help!
-
Not gettng mad Bro.
It seems because its a 14.985 fps avi,
Its blank, even when i FIRST bring up the file,
-
No problem...
Somehow that sounds familiar, having 14.985 fps. I swear I've seen a post on it and how to fix it. Let me rack my brains for a while.

MIKELVCD,
I'm just taking a stab in the dark here but if you got a movie in AVI format most likely it is DivX encoded and while that should be no problem for TMPEGEnc, if the Audio is compressed in any way TMPEGEnc will not be able to convert the file.
You can check this in VirtualDub. If this is the case then you can either use VirtualDub to create (dub) a new AVI with NO Audio Compression. You can also use the Decompress utility in AVI2VCD to create an uncompressed "PCM Audio" based AVI (note, the video will not change, just the Audio).
I had this same problem with "O Brother Where Art Thou".
The Decompress from AVI2VCD worked like a charm, then I used TMPEGEnc to split and encode to MPEG.
I hope that helps.
Hey, if this does the trick then go ahead and send me your "source" for movies. I may already have it but what the heck.
Good luck!
***EDIT***
Okay, I missed the post where you said the video was all blank. Well, you can try DivFix to correct this problem (maybe) but I have also noticed sometimes that some players can not "play" the video but TMPEGEnc can decode it... why, I have no idea. There is also a possibility that you are either missing a video codec or you have an older or incompatible version of the code.
Just thought I'd throw that at ya.
