fps

  1. is there any way to make sure you are getting a good, high number for fps before you download a movie? 29.97 is supposed to be normal but the last one I got was only 12.5, which is about less than half that.

  2. If you are using a p2p to download from just make sure that the bandwidth rate is high i usually try to find someone with at least 500 plus if i can find someone with a 1,000 plus i can pull on a average 190kb.

  3. Yes there is a way I do it all the time. I use kazaa so I will tell you how to do it through that. Okay the .dat file kazaa makes while it downloads, copy that to another folder( it may be large) then open it with vitual dub. It will tell you it had to rebuild the index file, this is normal. Then hit F5 it will start to play the video and will show you the video render rate, this is the frame rate. I had that prob to, "The New Guy" is only 12.5 FPS! I wanted it so I put up with it.
