  1. Hi,

    I have that problem:

I have a SVCD and I copied it to the harddisk in order to play it directly from the PC with a Software-DVD player.

So I extracted the MOVIE file with ISOBUSTER to the harddisc, but WIndows Media Player does not play it because it is a SVCD-File! So I got Power-DVD but that program only supports inserted CDs or DVDs in the CD-Rom tray.

Is there a possibility to play an extracted SVCD Movie file with a Software DVD player directly from the harddisc?

    Many thanks in advance

    Susan

  2. If you extracted it correctly and have an mpeg2 codec installed then it should play in WMP.

Also Power DVD (at least recent verions) will play files from the HD. Just check all the buttons on the powerDVD control planel till you find one marked file mode/disc mode. Switch to file mode then click another button (forget the label) to open a file slector dialog.
