  1. Hi

    please patient with the cat

My 50P footage appear too "live" when converted in 50i, is there a way to get a more cinematic look?

  2. This has already been discussed with you before, no?
For example convert 50p to 24p which is the standard film framerate. Interlaced is a video format.
Or baserate deinterlace your 50i to 25p using QTGMC and adjust its settings for ShutterBlur and ShutterAngle, and eventually slowdown to 24fps.

Scroll down to "Shutter Speed Motion Blur / Frame Rate"

  3. Cinema is shot in 24p or 25p: reducing the number of frames per second before interlacing results in smoother motion, with a slight, more natural motion blur.
