Hi,

As the title says, I want to know the in depth difference on what both of these profile do & how are they better/worse than Dolby vision. Some basic info I have & the questions I want to be answered:

Basic knowledge:
- HDR10+ is dynamic metadata for both profiles.
- HDR10+ has a base layer for HDR10.
- HDR10+ isn't compatible on some TVs, like Dolby vision isn't on Samsung TVs.

Questions:

- How is HDR10+ different from Dolby Vision & how Apple TV & other devices handle both?
- Dolby vision 5 has different color space then others & these HDR10+ profiles have the same kinda differences?
- How HLG comes into play with both Dolby vision & HDR10+, I have seen my LG OLED G2 support HLG HDR on YouTube, what profile colorspace etc that is?
- How iphones handle HLG/Dolby vision/HDR10+ metadata.
- how does HDR10+(different profiles) fair against Bluray Dolby vision(of all profiles like 5 vs 7 vs 8 etc)
- is Bluray of Nolan Films like Oppenheimer etc which use HDR10 actually worse then Dolby Vision or HDR10+ Bluray like Avatar way of water or john wick etc, also give me more similar examples.

This is my first post & first time on this forum, happy to be a part of it.
Thanks to each one of you for reading this far, another huge thankyou if you are replying.
Cheers!
