  1. Used the search que. but didnt find anything. Looking for some guides, help, or knowledgeable people that may be able to point me in the right direction of how to go about authoring real short animated titles screens that play before the movie comes on. I quite frequently use DVD2SVCD for SVCD creation, but also manually do it for those hard to back-up movies or to just add that bit of personal touch.

So.....Next step for me in my plight for greatness, is learning to customize my back ups a little more with a a sort of splash intro movie.

    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers T.

  2. read the vcdimager manual for valid mpg streams, etc. way over my head. tscv.org might be worth a shot...guess he finally started working on it again for motion menu stuff.

  3. If you look at the books on using Adobe Premiere or Ulead MediaStudio Pro you'll see how to do some of what you want. With Cool3D and motion paths in MS Pro 6.5 you can whip up some nice 3D moving effects. I'm looking at animating VCD logos now.

  4. Just as a note, Macromedia Flash can render movies to the .AVI format.

If the original movie is set up correctly, these can be easily encoded into a VCD-compliant MPEG.

And if you need to use the easier/cheaper Swish program to create your Flash animations, anyone with Flash can open your .FLA file and export the .AVI for you.

@FM80 - Great suggestions. I've rendered a fair amount flash animations, but never thought or even new that you could transfer them to avi. This is good to know. Thanks m8..
