  1. I sure hope someone can help me here, this is the error I get: cce encoding failed: AVIStreamRead()failed(0x8004406d): A disk error occurred while reading the file. I have all the proper codecs installed, I am resizing and frameserving a divx avi with VirtualDub, I have stripped the vbr audio, I have shown VirtualDub a wav file. I have covered it all I think. CCE finishes the .vaf and gives a "cce encoding failed" then it starts the .mpv, about 2/3 through it crashes giving me the error at the top. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

have you checked your divx file for errors? either use divxfix, or open with extended options in vdub, and rederive key frames, and save as new avi. that might do the trick

  3. Two things come to my mind:

    1. Did you install the patch that disable CRC check? If not, install it.

    2. Always disable audio in your CCE template.
