  1. I'm attempting to Frameserve into CCE 2.62 and am having a monster of a time. Here's my path

    *.vobs from DVD-Rip into AVI2DVD
    *a2v into VFAPIConv to make .AVI file
    *a2v.avi file into VDub 1.4.9 for re-size -I also add a .wav file because I heard that it won't work without a wav file included.
    *Frameserved from VDub
    *VDR file into VFAPIConv to make .AVI file
    *the VDR.AVI file into CCE 2.62

    It appears to be able to load correctly. The convert takes about 1 hour for a 2 hour movie (which seems really fast) and the VDub Frameserver window shows that no A/V frames have been served. After the convert, there is no MPV file anywhere on my system.

    I've also tried

    VOB --> AVI2VCD --> A2V file
    A2V --> FitCD --> AVISynth Script (I use FitCD because I'm terrible at script writing, and I need to do a strange re-size)
    AVS --> VFAPIConv --> .avi file
    avi --> CCE 2.62

    This doesn't work. When I try to run the AVS file into VFAPI the resulting ".AVI" file is empty, so when I load it into CCE, it says that it's not a valid file.

    I've read the guides, searched the forums, and have tried nearly everything I can think of, but so far, I haven't had any luck figuring this stuff out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (and, if possible, try to be as thorough as possible in the descriptions...I haven't yet mastered all the abbreviations and terminology! :-? )

    Thanks

    I don't think you can frameserve directly to 2.62--do a search to try to find out.

    I'm not frameserving directly to 2.62. I'm running the VDub files through VFAPI. According to Truman's guide, that's the way to get it to work on 2.62.

    I suppose I will try 2.5 when I get home today.
