How to Listen to Old MPR Morning Show Episodes (Help, Please!)

I used to listen to The Morning Show with Dale Connelly and Jim Ed Poole. It was discontinued in 2008. I have a few episodes I downloaded to listen on my podcast app on my old, old phone. And now those are the only ones I have. I don't know if it's the fact that my computer doesn't have Adobe Flash or what.....but now I can't access anything after I finally dug up the buried website on the Way Back Machine archive.

If anyone knows how to listen to older than 2007, 2008 I'm still wanting to listen to those. Thanks!

a little more technical in order to do it automatically.


curl the url https://www.prairiehome.org/shows/page/xxx.html and grep all the "class=.mod_header. href=". Now curl all the ref links and grep the .mp3 links. Use aria2c to download all the episodes.

So, I can view the old webpages - for example - https://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/programs/morning_show/listings/2007/03/19/index.shtml#wed - which displays the playlists and has a link that goes to the the first hour of the The Morning Show - for example the original link that would have played: http://www.publicradio.org/tools/media/player/minnesota/radio/programs/morning_show/2007/03/19_ms1 (it would have played via a flash player)

I tried using this root (I don't know a better word for it) from the PHC thread:
https://play.publicradio.org/api-2.0.1/o/
and adjusted to:
https://play.publicradio.org/api-2.0.1/o/minnesota/radio/programs/morning_show/2007/03/19_ms1.mp3
And tried adjusting the format to mimic PHC in case they had standardized to something different from original:
https://play.publicradio.org/api-2.0.1/o/minnesota/the_current/programs/2007/03/26/mor.../03/26_ms1.mp3

The Morning Show is not The Prairie Home Companion - so the "phc" needs to be changed and I'm not sure if I'm having no luck because the file doesn't exist anymore or if I'm doing it wrong.

Apologies for my misunderstanding. You are correct. All that I wrote refers to The Prairie Home Companion.

My opinion is that the links doesn't exist anymore.


You will need to find a site for the Morning Show similar to that for the Prairie Home Companion.
