I just converted an avi to SVCD with ULEAD MS 6.0 and to my surprise, the resulting mpg was compeletly playing out of sync (on XP the audio gets up to 5 sec behind at end of movie). As that never happende before, I switch from XP to Win2k, played the same mpg and everything was fine.
Question: is this just a XP issue (with WindowsMediaplayer) or am I doing something wrong (avi are being played OK and so are asf or DivX), only SVCDs make problems.I haven't tried PowerDVD on XP.
