  1. Hello

I have been using the last stable version of AGK. I converted some movies of about 1hr 30 mins long which were already ripped on my HDD.

As the result came out I found that for all, the video and Audio are way out of sync from the very beginning!!!

I have not changed any advance option. I chose the maximum allowed size to be the target size. I have also tried in setting the Quality to 10% and then encode. The result turned out to be the same.

Also please tell me whether i should enable Standalone compatibility or not. If yes, then which one- Sigma or ESS?

    Is there any solution?

    Please help.

    Thank you.

I would start over from the beginning. Try removing and reinstalling the latest version of AutoGK. If multiple attempts at encoding using different settings from the same files result in the same problem, I would suspect the source files. It's possible you have an issue with your ripped files, you may want to RIP them again.

As for standalone compatibility, it boils down to how the files are used. If you have a picky standalone player which has trouble playing back your avi files created by the AutoGK defaults, then you can use Standalone compatiblility to try and resolve the issue. You then choose which one to use based on the chipset used by your DVD player (Sigma or ESS).

  3. Ok, I shall uninstall and try it again.

But I do not think that there is any problem with the Rip, as because the ripped files are playing perfectly without any problem in all the players.

    Thanks for your reply.
