I have a Panasonic PV-4250 VCR and I have been trying to get it setup so we can record some videos to a capture card. Unfortunately, all the tapes I have tried have a horizontal coloured noise effect, and on a few occasions, even goes black and white for a few moments.
Here is a sample video of the problems I have been having. This is the same throughout the 5 tapes I tried, and when connecting this to a TV. Sound works great it's just that the audio device on the capture card didn't get it for some reason.

I have cleaned the drum using the paper method and removed all the dust, this didn't change anything. All that it managed to fix was the VCR rejecting tapes before it tries to load them which is great. If anyone knows of a solution that could fix this that would be fantastic.

Might as well be the exact same issue caused by bad solder connections on that small board.
