I made many DVD picture slideshows with music back in the 2006 time frame. I have the DVD file copies on a hard drive, but can't seem to open or remember what old program I used to make them (Sonic, Pinnacle, Roxio, iMovie/photos. or ?) I am on a PC with win10 and I can only view the source directory with VLC. Below is what the DVD file structure looks like (No AUDIO_TS OR VIDEO_TS). Any help wound be much appreciated!

Turn off Explorer's "Hide extensions for known file types" option so you can see the actual file extensions. My guess is that "Megs Graduation" is a .VOB file and the folder called Sources contains the original source files (AVI?) that were used to make it. So that isn't a disc meant to be played in a DVD player, but an archive of the project. I don't recognize what software that may have been. Maybe if you show the content of the Sources folder (with extensions) it will be clearer to somebody.

I looked up jacket_p and it's a directory that holds MPEG-2 encoded pictures of the cover art (usually) for the disc. It can be used by some players as background for splash screens, screen saver, etc... not that many support it, though. This is taken from a doom 9 forum post.

really doubtful that dvd disc would have auto-played on any dvd machine. maybe it opened as a list of files. upload the "dvd file" off the disc and let's see what it contains. most likely a vob, or maybe an mpg2. it could have been made with the old windows program windows movie maker/dvd maker.

Thanks for you thoughts. Sorry about the double post...my bad. Here is what' in the directory. I do think you are correct that is was some slideshow program like movie maker....
The .DVD file and one from the Jacket_P dir -
The .dvd file wouldn't send
This is a pic files in the slideshow dir of Sources .... it wouldn't send either 100-0019_IMG-fade-110372.mpeg - Invalid File -
The files that wouldn't upload can be zipped up into an archive and the archive uploaded.

Type into a Windows command line window:
dir X:\*.* /s >C:\list.txt
Then post the list.txt file (you'll find it in the root directory from drive C) here.
