Does one of you know how it is possible to transcode a MPEG2 Video file with CCE rather than ReMPEG2 and maintain the MPEG2 stream structure as ReMPEG2 does so that I can without a problem remux the MPEG2 Video with IfoEdit? Theoretically this should be possible, but which programs are necessary to get all the necessary information about the original MPEG2 stream. Imho the most important is to maintain the same GOP structure, is that right?

It is possible to transcode with CCE, no it's not possible to keep 100% of the mpeg structure. You must decode the mpeg first.

"Close enough" is unfortunately not good enough, ever tried to remux a CCE MPEG2 with IfoEdit?
