I downloaded a movie of the web and found that when I went into TMPGEnc (2.53.35.130) I found that there is no sound. But the sound is there when I double click on the move and it plays with sound in windows media player.
When I get properties on the movie it tells me
Audio MPEG Layer-3
Average data rate 19.518Kb/sec
Sample rate 4800Khz
Channels 2(stereo)
Please Help

ok you say you get no sound explain it a little more.
what exactly did you do when you used tmpegnc -
I went in to TMPGenc
Selected svcd format
Loaded the video file (Audio file was the same)
Selected source range with the Display Audio ticked
All through the move the audio line is flat.
I divide the move into two
And then it starts encoding
Using nero I then burn to a svcd
I have done 3 other movies and they work fine it is just this one

the best thing to do is extract the audio using virtual dub.
then do everything the way you did before. I have never had a problem using this guide
1st guide under convert click here
