I made both VCDs with menus and a VCD photo cd with menus and want to test them on my computer, since my DVD player is out on lone... which player allows me to see the menus and which file from the CDs directory do I select to get it to start playing...

WinDVD allows you to play the VCD back properly, and I believe PowerDVD does as well. In WinDVD you don't select an individual file but point the software to the drive in which your VCD is.

I dant want to try WinDVD again, cause last time I installed it, errors galore popped up in Win98se, had to format HDD after... perhaps cause I don't have a DVD rom drive?
What other players support menus? -
As I said, PowerDVD should work as well. Another good option is the VCDPlayer that WinOnCD puts on the VCDs that you create with it. If you do a search for vcd_play.exe you might find it.
