  1. I have a strange problem with MPEG-2 remuxing in BBMpeg. When I am trying to burn the resulting file using VCDEasy it gives me numerous "Strange (possibly non-compliant) user data" and "unknown user data" warnings and the resulting XSVCD does not play at all. If I burn the original file, i.e. created by TMPGEnc and before demuxing/remuxing, VCDEasy gives me only one such warning and the resulting disc plays just fine. I am using TMPGenc to demux and BBMpeg with SVCD/VBR/Add scan offsets/Timestamps:all frames/Write program end code settings. BBMpeg does not give any errors. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any info.

  2. sounds like the way I do it... the only thing I may suggest is to zero out the forced mux rate and let BBMpeg use max. I hope this may help... not sure if it will...

also... maybe try a dif. burner proggy... maybe nero (if its not compliant make sure and uncheck Create Standard Compliant CD in nero)

    peace,

  3. I set the mux rate to zero. Same problem as before. Will try Nero, although the idea of using VCDEasy was that it supports chapters.
