    Hello,

I have videos in TS and Blueray

if I want to ReMux them which format is better is it TS or M2TS for archiving on my fileserver and why? (what is the difference any way from technical perspective for later use like to convert to other format or burn them back to Blueray or even watch them on my Mac and PC)

since i use mainly Mac I have some which are muxed to MOV file (work great with quicktime)

note: ID DO NOT ASKING ABOUT ENCODING or ReENCODING, MUXING and ReMUXING ONLY

    cheers,

Should make no difference for a PC, don't know about mac...........

TS is 188 byte packets, m2ts is 192 byte packets........both are Transport Stream containers. m2ts can be blu-ray compatible, ts is not.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
