I love open source movies where the director allows you to copy them, like big buck bunny. I have heard a rumor that people will start making 4k UHD discs of these. I would like to play them in a Samsung UBD-K8500 UHD player and copy these movies when people complete these projects in the near future. I want to make many, many copies of these movies using this method when they are released. What is the best way to copy 4k UHD discs? It seems like the best current method would be using an HD Fury Integral connected to a blackmagic intensity 4k pro. Does the intensity use hardware compression? What are other people who like open source movies planning to do?
