Hi all. If anyone can help me with this problem please
what does it mean when my mini camera avi video files can't play after it has been recording for than an hour ? This camera records and save the files every 5 minutes on a 32g memory card, I can view the firs 10 files but all files recorded after that I can't view them. The video player plays a small black screen with three lines in the middle of it.
Thanks for your help in advance

Have you tried open it with several players? LIke vlc media player.

Try also open it with video editors like avidemux, virtualdub. If they can read it save as a new avi.

Or try reconvert it with converters like handbrake, xmedia recode, etc.

And post the details from the mediainfo, change to view->text and copy everything.

That means the AVI header is missing. Open one of the bad videos with a hex editor and compare to one of the good videos. AVI files have a very distinctive header at the beginning of the file. I suspect your bad files is full of zeros or just junk.
