Hi,
I have an AVI file that I wish to convert to a MP4 file, so that my parent can watch it on their Sony television (KDL-40EX40B). I just copy the converted file on a USB drive, which I connect on their television through the USB 2.0 port. This television can only read MP4 files.
The problem is the following: if I convert the AVI file with Handbrake v0.9.9, default settings, H.264 codec, they can watch the program, no problem, except for the last few seconds. The video freezes, and then they get an error message, saying the file cannot be read anymore.
To avoid this problem, I tried to convert the same AVI file with Adobe Media Encoder CS6. But now, the whole file is unreadable. No matter what settings I try (presets and custom), I cannot get any AVI file converted to a H.264 file with AME6 to run on their Sony television.
Any clue about what could be the problem??
Thanks!
