hi,
i have an apex ad-1000 dvd player and i go to play the svcd's i made with it but i can't fast forward or rewind the movie. I can play the movie but i can't do anything else. The vcd's i made can fast foward but the svcd's can't. when i push fast forward it go to the start of the movie and runs a loop on the first few frames on the svcd. Can some one help me out here?

You have to use BBMPEG to multiplex the video and not TMPGenc,
'cause BBMPEG puts in the right "scan offsets" and TMPGenc does not. -
yea i was using the tmpgenc to make the svcd in ntsc format. i got the bbmpg...i'll see if that works out. I still don't know why tmpgenc won't make svcd's correctly....that is weird.

if you e-mail me I will send you a file called scandat,it will allow you to fast forward and rewind svcd, have only used with nero but should work with other programs.and I encode with tmpegenc

So, once the avi had been converted to mpeg, you process it with bbmpeg? or do you convert it to mpeg with bbmpeg?
