  1. Hi Guys,

I want to extract subtitle from a documentary dvd which should be translated in different language. The DVD has single subtitle in english. I tried lot of tools but nothing seems to be working. It looks like, tools are not able to find any subtitle in VOB files. I tried to convert these VOB to MP4, MKV but the result is the same.

I am attaching an output from famous tool Sub Edit.

Provided dvd is ripped to hard drive then use pgcedit in tools section to extract the subtitle as sup

Use subtitle edit to convert sup to srt ... then do the translation on the output srt

    And welcome to the forum

  5. The subs migth be hardcoded. Use MediaInfo for one of the VOB files and see if there's any Text stream.

Dont know the reason why this file is not demuxed in first folder.
