Streaming to Panasonic DMR-PWT635 BD Player

I am having problems streaming from my pc to Panasonic DMR-PWT635 BD Player, I have set up streaming from the pc (both with Divx & WMP) to my tv with no problems (except that the 3d button does not work whilst the tv is used as the client) so I thought if I used the dvd player as the client I could use the 3d mode on the tv. Their adverts all say that streaming to/from this player could not be easier (it could!!) I have set it up as per their (sparse) info i.e. I have activated the DNLA server in the Home Network, then selected Home Network (DNLA Client) a list of equipment connected via the network is then supposed to be displayed all mine says is "no equipment is connected on home network" (or similar - cannot remember exact message).

If my tv can recognise the equipment on the network why can't the player, any ideas anyone? what I am I doing wrong or omitting
