i just burned my 1st 2 dvd's with avstodvd & they came out ok but i notice the titles for both on playback are 'DVD'.

is there a way to customize the title so it reflects whats on the dvd?

i found where to change the title as written to the hard drive but it doesn't carry over to playback.

I guess the player reads the disk label property. In imgburn you can edit that, and the other two labels BEFORE you actually burn the disk.

imhh1: thats where I changed the label.

It wrote to the hard drive with the new title, but on playback the title was still 'DVD'.

Maybe I'll play with imgburn, I burned it with clonedvd2.

Before you start the burn with CloneDVD2, I believe you also have to type in the title of the DVD. Imgburn burns whatever the title is automatically.

If you had stated that you were looking at a menu and not the osg that briefly appears on playback (PC based) we would not have wasted out time with the other replies.

ok i see what happened , you created the menu before editing the dvd label.

    so write your title first
    and then click on menu.

imhh1:yeah, i think i got it figured out.
this was my 1st try so still fumbling around.
did get a usable dvd tho where dvdflick & videoredo couldn't do it.
dvdflick came close tho. pretty amazing as it hasn't been updated in 6 or 7 years.
