  1. First of all, my DVD plays mp3s and i already tested playing movies (mpeg) in it and it worked. Now, what im asking is, Can i make 1 cd that will play both mp3s and mpeg movies? If so, how? can i do it with EasyCD Creator 5?

If its not that hard of a question, you might be able to find the answer by using the search function on this site -- This question has been asked an answered several times before.

There are two ways to approach making the disc you want to make:

The first is a straight data-only CD. If you have a forgiving player, like an Apex (or, a Daewoo as I do), you can mix and match MPEG video files and MP3 files onto a data disc and pop it in your player. Video and audio will play if its an MPEG, and audio will play if its an MP3.

The second is a properly formatted VCD (or XVCD), with MP3 files on it. Your DVD player will only recognize the VCD tracks and ignore the MP3 files, but the MP3 files are still playable in your computer or on a portable CD-based MP3 player.

The approach that will work best in direct answer to your question is option one.

    Can you play XVCD?

If you can, you can encode an mp3 and for video, use a jpeg and set the video bitrate as low as you can.
