    What's the best program to use to clean up a de-muxed audio file. The main problem is hiss, but the whole thing sounds like a cheap car radio. Is there a freeware wave file editor, or a plug-in for virtualdub, or other video related software ??

    do a board search (link up above) for "hiss" and you'll find the answer to your question
