Update WinTV from v7.2.30347 (CD 2.6d) to CD 2.8a?

Hi everyone,

I've been working on optimizing my HD capture on my Colossus card (see thread here: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/359703-Colossus-HD-captured-video-resolution-issues).

I've been having a few issues:

• Captured video isn't as clear and sharp as the source (captured via HDMI cable).
• Audio/Video sync issues when using ShowBiz.
• Loss of video quality after editing out commercials.

It seems that most of you know that setting the capture bit rate higher can give better captured video quality but you can't set that in WinTV.

I noticed that Hauppauge has a new version of WinTV. Has anyone tried updating to the new version? Does this slightly newer version work better or is it a minor update with fixes that won't help my issues?

, i dont think you get any change, only if them update drivers.

how you know lost quality? what program use?
