ok guys this is killing me and i need desprit help!!!

heres the prob, i am trying to convert my dvd to svcd before you tell me to go and look in the how to section i am using this guide J.o.D DVD to high quality SVCD conversion guide remeber i am ripping a pal region 2 dvd. its telling me to use a frame rate of 23.3 when setting up tmpgenc is this right for pal?

when i encode it and try to multiplex the audio its way way out of sync. so what i need is the correct settings (which will keep my audio and video in sync) and will also make it a complient svcd (which will be burned with nero). help with this would be most appreciated thanx.

Load a PAL template instead. PAL framerate is 25 fps.

  5. I cannot offer any help with your current software, but I can make a suggestion. I use DVD2SVCD from www.doom9.org . This works excellectly and you dont need to make a lot of changes. The resulting SVCD is excellent. Try downloading the software and read the manual and I garentee that you will get the result you are after.

BTW. If you really are new to this, you may want to refrase your replies especialy to those offering help.

my intention was not to be offensive in my last reply. sorry if it came over that way but thanx for the suggestion truman.

i have attemped to use DVD2SVCD in the past and i have had poor results mibby it was the settings that i was using or something i cannot say. i might have a look in to some other way of encoding the svcd and ill let you know.
