I've been trying to convert a DIVX file to VCD. But after the conversion the sound had this very annoying high pitched noise. I just figured out that it seemed to have something to do with the software I played it back on because I tried to only convert the sound to an mp2-file and when I play this file with WMP (or other programs using the same decoders) the noise is there, but when I play it in WinAmp it sounds fine. Anyone noticed this and is it possible to change the default mpeg audio decoder in windows? Thanks.
