    Hi,
I have this disc http://www.amazon.de/Agatha-Christie-Dokumentation-WMV-HD-DVDs/dp/B0009XD8YS which I would like to convert to something playable over DLNA on my Oppo BDP-93 or my Panasonic BDT335.
I have tried to use "ffmpeg -i 1.wmv -c:v copy -c:a copy 1.mkv", but I get an error message on the Oppo. It seems I need to specify a different video and audio codec to be compatible with the Oppo.
I would appreciate it, if someone could point me in the right direction:
    - which target codecs to use for best compatibility and least quality loss
    - how to do this using ffmpeg

This is the Mediainfo for the file:

Try h264 video using x264 and aac audio. Google for ffmpeg x264 for several examples.
