Good day. So i got this old video from 2009, created using Macromedia Flash 8.0.22.0 and I need to upload it to Youtube, but its an executable file (.exe), so upload function denies it as of wrong format. I tried playing it and recording with some screen recorders, But the quality gets destroyed, and if i am recording on Full HD, the bitrate consumes my whole HDD in seconds. Have been googling for solutions, but everything i came up was folks saying it cant be done any other way and this forum that helped some guy with specific .exe video a while back. That appeared to be a Bink video format with a embedded player and the guy was sent over to RAD game tools. Since i'm not sure what video format is this flash executable, here i am.

    Thx in advance.

did you try extracting the video from the compressed file? winrar or 7zip might be able to remove the .swf file.

    I have 3 files:
    Application (2.522KB)
    .fla file (141.830KB)
Shockwave flash object, which stands for .swf (978KB).

Now swf object would be fine, but converting it with my Video Convert Master gives I/O error, and its definitely not related to any device problems. File can be opened using GOM player, but video cant be paused, while sound can. This wouldnt be such a big problem if i was able to convert that .swf to .avi or some. I believe that Shockwave flash object means, that this files exporting wasnt fully completed.

I've tried opening .fla to create .swf in that directory, but sadly i dont have the software to open it anymore. Any suggestions?
