Hey there,
so I made a video that has 23.000 FPS (due to the camera of my phone). I tried several video plattforms (YouTube, Vimeo, Sevenload, MyVideo), but they either cut out my audio due to copyright (Germany...) or the audio gets out of synch due to the weired frame rate (Vimeo).
I was wondering about two things:
1. Why is the audio going out of synch on that plattform but not on my computer using VLC?
2. Is there any plattform that can handle this?
If not, how can I deal with it if I don't want to re-edit everything again?
Thanks in advance!

Does the video play increasingly before the audio on Vimeo? If so, my guess is they speeded it up to 23.976fps. You could download it to confirm (or disprove).
How to deal with it? Maybe make it 23.976fps yourself, either by speeding it up (which will necessitate also speeding up the audio), or by adding duplicate frames to bring it up to 23.976fps (in which case the audio can be used as-is, but the playback will become slightly jerky).
And if the one that refused it because of copyright problems was YouTube, 23fps isn't one of their accepted framerates and it most likely would have had out-of-synch audio too after they speeded up the video. -
Hmm, I downloaded the vids from vimeo again and they are still in 23.000 FPS, according to MediaInfo.
I'll try speeding up the audio later tonight (I found this thread in which you, manono, also posted: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/335884-Easy-tool-to-change-audio-fps ) and post my results.
Thanks!
EDIT: Yes, it seems as the audio plays increasingly after the video. -
Hey there,
I'm back after a few days off the screen. Here is what I've tried:
1. Using BeSweet with BeLight: error, because vobinput.dll not found. Where can I get it? The given link is broken...
2. Tried MeGUI. There were just preset FPS-changes possible though.
3. Then I figured I could also try to increase FPS of both video and audio using Handbrake. While the MediaInfo said, the output file was 25 FPS, the length of the video remained the same and vimeo still didn't want to take it. So I guess, just the info in the file was rewritten or something. The file's sized decreased by 50%, however. (?!)
4. Next thing I tried was using eac3to with command line ( https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Eac3to/How_to_Use ). I got this error message:
I guess, it's not possible to use avi, anyhow, if I used an audio file - what would have been wrong with my command?
EDIT: Doesn't work with *.RAW either.
Cheers!
