  1. If I capture, in Virtualdub, an AVI with audio, I can frameserve to cce 2.50: VirtualDub->cce. If I turn off the Audio capture, then capture an AVI file with VirtualDub, then I can no longer frameserve to cce 2.50. I get this error message as soon as I try to open the .vdr file in cce:

The instruction at "0x004029c7" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".

Does anyone know how I can solve this?

  2. Not sure why you're capturing without an audio source, but I digress...

CCE needs audio input or else it produces an error or just crashes in my case. In VDub, under Audio, select WAV source and choose any old wav you have handy, doesn't matter what size. Then when you frameserve, CCE should have no problems - then uncheck the Audio file in the CCE project settings.

I don't need the audio of the original scene; I'm gonna mux in some music later. So there's no point in losing all the frames that VirtualDub is gonna drop to keep the audio in sync when I don't need that audio.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll try it.
